General F reg light blue 4x4

yeah i saw this.. it says it may have a head gasket issue as it runs rough/misfires. who wants to bet its running original HT leads :D

jimnys are very nice.. i should know as we had one! had to dig it out a few times too. and they are only an inch or so wider than a panda too.

also had an SJ before that too, they are nice but kinda basic.. nothing beats green laneing with the air con on with full pollen filtration :D

Not sure why you'd think the seller is lying

Not lying - but I have been misled by an inaccurately describe car I bought on Ebay once before. So being that the seller seems to be in a scrapyard dealing with many cars and might not be an expert in Fiats, I thought there was a possibility that an assumption could be made that the car is a 4x4 because of the badge...? Hence my question. :)

Uh Oh

I appear to have placed a bid

Who's up for a spot of scrap yard fettling?

:D

(y) Three Pandas. Cos two are never enough?

Well done! If you really, really want it though I'd recommend giving them a call. From my experience they'll tell you what they can about the car, and may be prepared to deal direct.
Just spotted that it's from the same dealer as my Mk1 project - same sticker in the back window. Godsells. Godsells them, us lot buy them.

Any way of knowing if this is a 4x4 from these images apart from the badge on the back?

Yes you can try to identify it from raised suspension, wheels & exhaust.

I'm a great believer in making things easy though. The DVLA have it recorded as a blue Panda 4x4 999cc, 50bhp, registered on 29/12/88. (y)

The highest bidder will get it. <slayer>

No, I'm only kidding mate. As it would be against FFCP members rules to bid againts each other i'll wait for next one. Unless you know your max offer, and the price will go above - i'll then get involved.
PS. My budget is limited anyway.
goood luck
