My pleasure, hope it's of some help to you.
Looks like the remote alarm controller that's the source of my problems is under the centre of the dashboard!!
Checking on E-bay, there are warnings that a new one may need coding to the car!!!!
Loathe to rip the dash out just for the remote locking, when central locking works OK. Just means I have no active alarm, that's all.
Sheesh!!!!!
