Hi all,
I'm very new to the FIAT marque and still investigating who I'll trust to with it when it comes to servicing of my 2014 4x4 Panda TwinAir.

I've had a recommendation for H Grays of Warwick, but I'm still looking for as many options as possible that are local to me in the North Cotswolds. (I'm within reasonable distance of Oxford Swindon Worcester and Gloucester)

I stumbled on a link for Cloverleaf Car Services of Gloucester and wonder if anyone has had any experience of these guys?

Thanks Zeewulf.

They're a bit too far for me, but I like the sound of them - they seem to protray a good ethic.

I take it you have use them yourself?

eh?

Thanks rmjbn1.

Not been on to Grays yet, but I certainly will in due course, but if I can find somewhere well recommended and a little nearer than Grays, it'd be a bonus.

I found https://www.njsalfaromeo.co.uk/ in Pershore - but don't have any information/recommendations on these guys either

Dealer network is poor here.. Indies have all closed..
Ah, sorry for troubling you then, Charlie:eek: Sorry for getting your hopes up, MaxHeadroom...

That's sad news. What's happening to them all? 20 years ago we knew decent independent specialists for Citroen, SAAB and Lancia within 5 miles of us. We still use them for our other cars but they're all retired now. I don't know where we'd find anyone today carrying on those businesses. Our neighbour uses a £ancia specialist in £ondon...

I just realised I might have answered my own question...

Our favoured place was 2 old Maindealer mechanics..
A chain bought out the branch.. then wound it up.. ( how unusual..)

So they started up on their own

They were 'old skool'

So the locality would have 1960s cars.. ducato campers..and modern Alfas parked up and down the street
Because they know how to diagnose things without an OBD port. (y)

Other places were Fiat..Lancia..Alfa dealers.. who could still do FIAT warranty work..all gone now :(

Must say, I do like your selection of avatar pics, MaxHeadroom:) Is that 'Mephistopheles' you're now using? The early years of FIAT were wonderful. I'd been thinking of using an old chassis plate (even those were things of beauty) like your previous pic and thought 'ah, someone else has had the same great idea...'

Just a thought, would your local MG mechanics be worth sounding out? Our independents used to look after our old cars (we got to know a good MG specialist in Old Windsor), and they don't seem to mind working on our Mazdas and FIATs too much.

Failing that, maybe try Alfa & Lancia forums to see if there are any recommendations? Both use the TwinAir engine

Thanks chaps (y)

I had a chat on the telephone with Grays today - they seemed very straightforward to deal with.

I took it on myself to seek out some reviews on Cloverleaf Cars in Gloucester today, and to be honest, I can't find anything bad at all.On the contrary the reviews they receive seem to be all very good.
I might have to phone them up and have a chat to them next week
