The conclusions largely follow my own experiences, only one of my vehicles but with a few friends (none of which ended in them using the company’s)…would never use ‘we buy any car’ as the end result is half what they first quote and have the usual ‘I’ll just have to check with my manager’ b’locks

They are all in business to max out profits and sales staff probably get a bonus as well out of it, same as any car forecourt.
My thoughts are car salesmen,estate agents and politicians, they will all tell you black is white to do a deal, accept no liability , minimal outlay and maximum profit for themselves.
