Thats the model I'm considering... My question is to the people in the know, are they any good? Its a step down, powerwise for me, but do they pull ok? easy to work on? Handling, spec.....

You know the drill, just tell me what you like and what you dont! haha!

Also, anyone here wanna buy a Ford Escort? hahaha!

Thanks!

No to the Ford Escort, but they're quirky Fiat's, those MK2 Punto's... easy handling, light weight, nothing bad to say about mine really, economical on the fuel, too... 40MPG. :)

Recently got one...as a first car, so not really going to be able to offer much in the way of comparisons (although, it is a damn sight easier to drive than my dads '99 Xantia estate!!)

Not a bad little car really!! Never really thought about Fiats until I spotted mine on a used car dealers forecourt, was bored so had a neb round it, found it to be very comfortable and quite roomy (for its size - that and at 6'2" and a little on the heavy side was very surprised!!). Having had it for less than 48hrs, must say, I'm still getting used to it (to anyone in the North East Lincs area who see's a Punto with a driver thinking he's in a tank - I apologise - still not used to the smallness yet lol)

Also, for a 1.2 (mine is totally stock) it's got a fair bit of spirit! Overall, nice city car, not too bad when travelling further afield either.

I have to agree with SeanW.

For those of us that aren't employed by Willy Wonka, the Punto and Grande Punto are great cars.
