Hi guys, I have a 2011 Abarth.. with a traditional key.

My door handles have been broken off both sides and today I read there is a surge in fiat 500 thefts in my area.

Is my Abarth/500 still open to simple theft with the OBD spite needing a key In ignition?

I have no idea as not being a bad guy/girl I'm not up to date with a) What these bad personson use and b) what mitigation Fiat & other manufacturers put to the table.

All I can suggest is that if you are in a hot spot area you look at using a steering wheel / other physical mechanical lock.

They can be fitted and removed in seconds, are visible and hopefully will ensure the bad operatives pass you by!

It is a real shame we have to go to these lengths to protect our property and unlike the US/other countries we can't shoot the ........ ers
