Hi I have a fiat 500 66 plate and the clutch pedal feels loose we have added fluid as there wasn't anything in there I can put it into gear when the engine isn't on but when I start the car I won't go into gear and it jumps

Hi and welcome 
Have you bled the clutch slave cylinder to get rid of any air in the system?
You also need to find where the leak is and fix it.
You should be able to see if it's wet with fluid around the leak.
Slave cylinder most likely, but could be master or quick connector in left front wheel arch.
