I've had a couple sets of Side skirts in the past, first set were bonded to the body only and were subsequently stolen  second set were bolt rivited but began snapping and looked tatty.

I'md getting another set of Skirts, what is the best method of securing them to me motor?

Best = Most Secure and Equally Sexy for the longest period of time :)

Definitely bonded (y) Jees someone nicked your skirts off your car :bang: persistent bastards weren't they they must have wanted those skirts really badly :shakehead I suggest that when you fit the new ones you go out and collect some dog sh!t and smear it thickly to the rear of the skirts so if they try to remove them they will have that lingering aroma every time they eat some chips from the bag and with their fingers :yuck:

i always use a strong adhesive on all touching edges (tigerbond) and aluminium pop rivets at both ends (arch lip) and along the under sill. then depending on model i also add rivets to the skirt where it sits under the door, but that depends if you can hid ethe rivets under a rubber seal or something like that, or if sill plates are going to be fitted it isnt a problem. the main thing is to never use fibreglass skirts, only plastic, then it wont crack around the rivets, or anywhere else, and it'll last longer than the rest of the car.
