forum changes

Right, havent been on a while as pc room getting decorated but I have noticed the forum has changed

changed so much its taking about 30-40seconds to open up a page.

I know im still using chalk and black board by having dial up but broadband aint worth it till we get new pcs

anyone else on dial up having these issues?

basically new gfx thus your browser is having to download them all. Assuming you store cache, should be fine on second, third visits...

Why oh why your still on dialup though?

I remember that feeling, I used to get it taking a minute plus to open pages when was on dial-up. Best way around it was to cache all pictures once a week or so then load from cache, it loads all the buttons, smilies, signatures etc. from your pc and if you want to see any specific picture, just turn it back on to load them up again.

Brows, not everyone can get BB due to personal circumstances or geography. I would have thought that was a simple enough concept?

It was geography as i understand for a while, now its here and waiting- my pc is well, **** and I need a new un, and thats not happening yet.

I dont think that will help, i think the machine hasnt even got over 1ghz processor. Its getting ready for retirement

yeah it will honest, cant rember why but ben told everyone to do it the otherday after the upgrade
