I used to have Amazon Prime until I realised you have to pay extra for the "good" new releases. Apparantly Netflix is rubbish for films too. I don't really want to go back to DVD's by post so is there another way of streaming new films? Legally by the way. I have relatives "in the industry" so it seems a bit wrong to not do it by the book!

NowTV I think is probably best for films (as it has the option of a Sky Cinema pass), I don't have it myself but I do have enough McDonalds Monopoly tokens for a free pass if you want to give it a go :) I think you get a free 14 day trial anyway though.

We use sky a lot, down load the movie there and then and they post you out a DVD which arrives a few days later. We also use Apple ITunes a lot to download movies to watch on the go, especially on a long trip or if staying in a hotel abroad with questionable TV channel choices

You can get a free trial to check it out, maybe the UK region has more?

Netflix has many many thousands of movies all of which are available all of the time, but not to everyone. They use a special algorithm to see what people are watching then present films they are likely to want to watch while hiding others.

This apparently stops the user being overwhelmed by choice and keep them happy in a little Netflix bubble.

There are apparently groups all over the Internet who create work around a to access the hidden content so they can actually find and watch what they want to rather then what Netflix suggests

They all suck. I use the unofficial way. Watch any film new or old, Free sports. And everything else free too. Its all there on net !!!! Seems rude not too
