I've just sold an electric guitar on ebay but now the listing has ended I'm not sure what to do because I've not sold anything on ebay before. Do I send them an invoice first or what?

I've not sold many things on eBay before, but what I've done is wait for them to pay, once thats happened (check via logging into PayPal if thats what you used), then its just send it to the address they state (should be somewhere in PayPal), then thats it, I tend to wait for them to leave Feedback before I leave it.

Well ive said that its collection only but they live 3 hours away so i have a feeling they will ask me to deliver which im not willing to do. But do i need to send them "payment details" first like it says next to the listing or do they pay first?

Yeah i did but when it had ended i looked up their postcode and they live so far away
If they are collecting the item its best they pay you in cash when they collect it. PayPal will take a percentage of the total selling price. Save yourself a few quick and allow them to pay "cash on collection".

Invoice or ebay message. Just let them know you prefer "cash on collection" and to give you a call to arrange when and where for collection. Dont forget to include a contact number. I use an old pay as you go sim.

though eBay make you offer PP anyway :doh:
