OH DEAR GOD YOU USED A SPONGE AND CHEAP AND NASTY SHAMPOO!

and tap water......oh yes no reverse osmosis **** wittery here....

:ROFLMAO: (y). Looks pretty clean. But I bet its full of swearls!

Exactly how I clean my car although I use a wash mit and auto glym stuff. So still cheap but good results. I used the 'spawn of satan' though Dum...Dom Duuuuuuuum A machine polisher :ROFLMAO:.

it's a working car, i drive it, so i can work, and have a life, so as long as is clean, that swirl is welcome,

I'm actually interested to know what you use on your wheels as I use some spray stuff right now but it's rubbish, doesn't get the the worst of the brake dust off......that mousse looks interesting.

halfords wheel cleaner(y) spray on, hose off.....agitate with toothbrush iof you must:

and continue with having a life

now, before the backlash starts, don't get me wrong, i do take pride in the appearance of my cars...even "tippex" gets a little love every now and then, but what marc is doing is anal in the nth degree of extreme, i bet if i told him the softest most absorbant, non swirly material was to be found in the pubic hair of mrs thatcher, he's be in her knickers snipping away before you'd seen which way he went.....

Ahem

Nice BUT !!

Get it rebadged to a shogun !!!

Google Pajero and spanish and you will find out why

Trev

ps get some KH71s of BFGs on it, and take it to it's home - the MUD ;)(y)

Cool ta :D

Jai your opinion and technique is spot on - 99.99% of the population aren't going to notice the difference between a properly washed and waxed car or a totally detailed car, so what's the point?

ps. I think Mrs Thatcher's pubes are probably made of wire wool :chin:

jai remember you can use the green side to remove bugs ;)

i may not be as "detailly" as vxr fella, but i will look after my cars....sort off, so the green scoury bit is for the rubber mats, for the bugs....i got special "bug dissolver" spray for them, helz, that wheel stuff was actually turtlewax spray, goes on moussy, and them rinses off,

awesome thread :D

I use the Turtlewax nano wheel cleaner spray, works a treat, and doesnt cost a fortune. Also, turtlewax nano wash&wax - quite good stuff in my eyes.
two wash mitts - one for bodywork, one for wheels (really the most easy way of cleaning wheels, it even has a scouring type pad on one side)

the odd polish happens now and again.... (like once in a blue moon )

i love having a clean car, but yeah, a lot of that detailing stuff is for sissys (n)

On of my ex's used a scotch pad on her car to remove bird mess It removed it really well so well in fact it also removed the paint down to the primer

yeah i know someone who did this also, we reckon he's a bit of a girl too :chin::p
