  • 4 NGK 'BKR5EZ' Spark Plugs (46531918)
  • Feeler Gauge (0.80mm)
  • 3/8' Drive Ratchet
  • 3/8' Drive Torque Wench (capable of 27Nm/19.91 lb-ft)
  • 5/8' Spark Plug Socket
  • 10mm 3/8' Drive Deep Socket
  • 12' 3/8' Drive Extension
  • Copper/Molybdenum Grease

How To...


How To...?

  • Open the bonnet.
  • Remove plastic engine cover. (4x 10mm Nuts)
  • Remove feed wires to coil packs noting cylinder assignment.
  • Unbolt (10mm Bolts)and Remove coil packs from spark plugs (Pull up firmly)
  • Remove plugs from cylinder head (12' extension, Plug Socket & Ratchet)
  • Check gap of new plugs using feeler gauge (NGK Spec: 0.8mm although this should be preset)
  • If adjustment is required use a small soft faced mallet to adjust. (DO NOT LEAVE THE FEELER GAUGE IN THE PLUG WHILST ADJUSTING THE GAP)
  • Smear a small amount of copper grease or molybdenum grease around the threads, avoiding leading 3 threads.
  • Fit plugs into cylinder head and torque to 27Nm/19.91 lb-ft (12' Extension, Plug Socket & Torque Wrench)
  • Refit coil packs and bolt down (not mega tight just a little 'nip')
  • Refit feed wires to coil packs
  • Refit plastic engine cover
  • Close Bonnet
