This is only a small thing, but its really annoying me, I've noticed on the positive terminal of the battery one of the plastic clips on the cover is snapped. Not so much a defect but just careless at the dealership!

Well i only noticed it last night. I'd love to but even the salespeople are so dim they wouldnt be able to do it between them.

Yeah you need one car robbed to do another you definatley need a tech!
Always fun when you see a salesman flap cos his car is missing a bit it had yesterday and it's going out in 20 mins!
I've noticed with the GPs it tends to be cabin fuse covers!
T do they have a weak point in them?
You pull them off from the top not bottom (something the AA are incapable off.....did you know the AA often refuse to remove this cover
)....by the way its the DLC cover not the fusebox...thats behind the glovebox.

)The day I took delivery there were problems with the dash( scratching and film stuck around the air vents) and having driven out the show room and braked got the squeak!!! This got worse and there was a chip on the paint work. Not good for a brand new car!! Had just sold a very nice BMW and was regretting it...However car went back Friday and has had the modified brake bits as suggested here( took a print out in case of problems thanks T14086 ) and the dash has been sorted apart from a new chunk being taken out of the dash, but the dealer pointed it out immediately and they have ordered a replacement part. So good service so far and already better than the chancers at BMW, never got service out of them even after buying two cars, good at selling then no after sales service.....

Think its a case of the dealer, my dad has had 5 brand new bmws in a row, and will never leave them because of all of the serivce blah blah blah. and He is right, they always seem to pull out the stops, in our dealership anyway.
Common courtesy works both ways....not just towards the customer but also towards members of garage staff!
BMW can afford to do that bit extra because profit margin is huge compared to a budget priced Fiat.

New to the forum. I drive an 07 plate 1.2 dynamic 5 door - for now!
I've not heard anyone else say this so here's an issue i have.
I find it very hard to get comfortable in the car, I get back ache and aches in the backs of my legs. I can't find a driving position in the car that lets me sit comfortably, I've even had the seat changed, both seats felt as though there were things sticking in my back! New seat creaks, by the sounds of what I've read on here it may be a broken seat weld!
Also my drivers door won't open from the inside either!
Anyone else find the seats uncomfortable?

Hi All
I have a 1.2L 8v 56MY, 8998 miles, used Grand Punto now for 3 weeks. The problems I have found so far are:
Rear doors very awkward to open from the outside. (still needs addressing)
Rear door passenger side clashing with wheel arch when closing (both doors front and back needed adjusting).
Blower motor (Fan) keeps on stopping. Dealer to replace next Wednesday.
Apart from that I'm extremely happy with the car and with my Fiat dealership in Stockport.

As in the handles feel a bit tight compared to the front?
