My little gp got hit from behind yesterday. The other driver just reversed and went round and drove off, turns out he had no insurance!! Happened in oldbury, west mids. Would be grateful if anyone driving around that area could keep an eye out for-

Police and insurance have been informed. I have witnesses, dash cam footage, even a piece of the front of his car! Sadly I don't see them tracing him, even if they do he'll probably deny all knowledge but I can hope.

car down as "uninsured" on UK insurance database no doubt.,

I had similar a few years ago,
he showed me an in date certificate, then his insurance declined when I made a claim:bang:

folklore - says these vehicles will get pulled via ANPR.. I'm FAR from convinced.

Yea I may be able to claim back my excess but you are right, it is a total pain in the *ss!
I checked the database first and then my insurance company confirmed it when I rang them.
