Just wondered if anyone has any thoughts about the cause of a new vibration noise. It happens between 2-3k rpm but only when driving. With the car stationary & revving the engine there's no noise. The noise seems to be coming from the front right (UK driver's side) and is perhaps from the door?

Car is 2007 1.2 GP.

The noise goes away above & below 2-3k but it's odd that there's no vibration with the car stationary..

Thanks

I had the same issue, only in a specific rpm range there was a vibration.

turned out that the top airbox mount was broken so it hanged loose at the engine.

Take a look at it, make sure the airbox is firm mounted at all points.

Good point. I made a new bracket to hold the airbox tight, maybe it's caused a problem.

Thanks once again for the tip about the airbox. It turned out to be the snorkel tube from the airbox where it attaches to the mounting on the body, as mentioned by Dombooth. A couple of cable ties seems to have fixed it.
