Hi all, my 2008 1.4 8v GP has a jerking motion when accelerating (no issues when gently accelerating)and seems almost hesitant at times when you put your foot down....no issues with breather pipes which I know can be at fault...any ideas what this could be????

misfire / hesitation, when were spark plugs last changed..?
Spark plugs checked during service in January....they look as good as new!

Have you plugged a reader in? If so any error codes?
Hi guys, sorry been super busy...
Ok so, reader plugged in....no error codes...spark plugs, no issues
As well as the hesitation when accelerating (it doesn't happen every time you accelerate), there is a little 'hiccup' when on idle...
Any ideas?
With no codes logged, the ecu believes that everything is OK.
So unless you're prepared to start throwing bits at it willy nilly, then you might just have to wait it out.
You may have an occasional misfire, but from experience a single hiccup was enough to illuminate the eml.
