Hiya peeps,

This is my 1st post on here so bare with me...

I have the aforementioned stereo on my Grande Punto 1.4 Sporting and it keeps autotuning the radio stations when driving around in turn driving me mad.

In the manual it says to hit MENU, then choose AF Switching then ON/OFF, but there is no AF Switching within the menu options at all.

Have I missed something or am I going mad? :bang:

Any advise would be useful.

Thanks,

Kitty

May be a tad obvious but you're pressing the menu button on the stereo right... Not the one next to rear fog etc,... Other than that mine has that option when scrolling through on the stereo. Never knew what it did but do now, lol...., I'll check later, and let you know....

Yes definitely the Menu button on the stereo LOL!

Cheers Rake.

Okay, so been playing around with the stereo for a bit, and no matter what I try, everytime I press the menu button, the AF SWITCHING setting is the first thing to come up, so no idea why yours doesn't even show it,

Also, maybe you have the REGIONAL MODE set to ON ? Think this may find local stations matching the PTY setting...

I did use the RESTORE DEFAULT option too and that still brought up the AF SWITCHING set to on.. and everything else set to off....

I'm just as baffled as you....lol....

I'll keep digging tho.....

Okay, another thing to check apparently, the fuse for the stereo,..

Though it may not be broken, it may be a tad "burnt" causing problems,

It's inside the glovebox, behind the flap on the left "should pull completely out" and its the fuse which is the 5th one up on the left if I remember correctly,

Just something worth checking

Hi Rake,

I've done a reset and even disconnected the battery for a bit, to no avail... Will get the garage to check out the fuse thing.

Many thanks.

3 weeks and its still happening, bet its driving you mad.

You can check the fuse in like 20 seconds lol, though honestly I doubt it'd be the fuse.

Maybe the garage may have some luck with it.
