Hello,

A couple of weeks ago I got a flat tyre in the middle on nowhere on a bank holiday. I opened the boot to get the spare out, or at least somekind of space saver and couldn't believe it that there was none.

I eventually managed to find someone to recover my car and take it to where I was staying for the weekend and got a local company to come out and fit a new tyre.

All in, including the tracking, this has cost me £240.

I am keen on this on never going through this again.

Has anyone bought a space saving wheel for a sporting version? Is there any particular modal I need to get?

Just buy a second hand full size 17" sporting alloy they do fit in well in boot

.....but are like gold dust.

i just got a 16 inch steelie and cover from my local tyre place, pretty expensive buying it new but i'm glad i've got it there

I've 3 sporting alloys around the house

How long have you had the car?
And how come you never looked in the boot before now?

Seriously though it would be one of the first things i would check

Which type are they? The original split/polished spoke versions or the vewer straight spoke type?

Would you consider selling one of them?

Im keen to keep one as a spare for myself.. one guy messaged me a while back and offerend me 175 for 2 so i've said he can have two... i havnt heard back from him yet.

Another guy posted yesterday but i dont know if he wants 1 or not.. But im prepared to sell 3 of them first come first serve really
