Hi,
Ive been reading the thread on leaky boot lid/water pouring out of the drain holes. Ive noticed this on mine, not large amount though.
BUT i've also just noticed what looks like rust creep where the two sheets of metal are joined at the bottom of the boot lid.
Do you think this would be covered on the paint warrenty? (56 sep)

Also under the tailgate lights at the top the paint has been worn away to bear metal. I think rust creep will come. Has any one elses done this? Im thinking paint warrenty?

At the very bottom edge of the passenger door is a small area where there is no paint and this definatley has rust creep. Warrenty??

Ive not been in to the dealers yet. What would you all suggest. Where do I stand with the anti corrosion warrenty?

Yeah contact the dealers or Fiat UK, they should be able to deal with the rust under the anti-corrosion warranty providing the warranty is up to 3 years, which means I think it's just eligible to be repaired free of charge.

Read the small prints and check out your warranty documents (if you have them) otherwise phone Fiat UK and they'll give you the procedures etc.

I was under the impression that to keep your anti corrosion warrenty intact you had to be serviced at fiat yearly and ask them to check over the car. I maybe wrong.

remember surface rust is different from perforation, dealer will be able to give you further advice.
