OK, sorry if this has been asked ad infinitum in other threads, but...

I'm 99.9% convinced I want the GSR induction kit for my T-Jet. However, will it run fine without having a remap? Am I likely to suffer any running issues by fitting the kit without having the car remapped?

How noisy is the GSR kit? I want some induction "growl" to give a little character. Any minor performance gain is a nice side effect as far as I am concerned. However, I don't want it to sound like some chavved-up M-reg Fiesta.

I've read the myriad of threads about the GSR kits and they certainly seem to be the best way to go. I just need the final 0.1% of convincing, so convince me!

Also the tjet induction kit is sold without the option (at the moment) for a remap so it must work fine.

where do you actually buy them? as there isnt a buy link on the gsr website as far as i can see.

you pm or phone oldschool if your quick you could get it for sunday an get it fitted as he be up your way then

cant afford it at the mo im just curious fro when the time comes. plus my ma would do her nut if she found me planning anything like this under warranty.

I've called him this afternoon and he's asked me to PM him. Have done, hopefully the kit should be ordered very soon

Will run fine without a map. Gives it a nice growl throughout the rev range and you hear the wastegate dumping through the induction aswell

just wanted to say you wont regret going for the GSR, on my stilo it was awesome couldn't recommend them enough! Standard on the stilo 1.8 16v was 135hp and when i had it RR with just the induction it got 143hp! So was well chuffed with that on a N/A petrol

just over two. ill probs do it anyay but not yet as mine has had a recall for the wiring loom.

No, actually you are fortunate that your parents bought YOU a car. I worked a paper route, saved all that money, put money away so that I could afford a ****ty 28yo car that I could fix. YOU got a (more or less) brand new GP, which I would kill for.
