I'd rather have the spare than have to be towed back when I am a 100+km from the city.

Why would you want to carry an extra wheel around? Think of the weight!!!!
No i wont. Its called you call the AA. I would much prefer to be on the truck than to have another 12kgs of weight in the boot.
You'll look like a complete :tosser: when the AA bloke asks you what the problem is and you say "i've got a flat tyre".
Rather save the weight Plus free AA cover if anything does happen....although I don't knwow hat it includes
I would only carry mine for long journeys too but I do so many more of them than short journeys that I really can't be arsed to keep pullin it out and putting it back in...and to be fair if i pulled it out I'd forget to put it back and then i'd be one of those :tosser: sitting at the side of the road for hours with no spare!!
Hmmmmm i must just have standard cover? How much you pay for that? Seven passangers is ridic. If you are going somewhere far away and possibly thinking of renting a mini bus....pretend your car is fooked and get a lift lol
The one time I tried to change a wheel on my car (not the GP) I was unable to do so because the wheel bolts were too tight to undo. Now, before you mock, let me just say I go to the gym 3 times a week at least and i'm certainly no weed!
The AA guy said it was a common problem. The nuts tend to seize up if the grease monkeys overtighten them and dont put enough grease (?) on them when they replace the wheel after having new tyres fitted.

I always wondered why you see so many people waiting for the AA with flat tyres... always assumed they were just too lazy to do it themselves!
:nutter: Are you being serious, your telling me that you would much rather sit at the side of the road looking like a total **** waiting for the AA, than just carry a spare wheel. You'll look like a complete :tosser: when the AA bloke asks you what the problem is and you say "i've got a flat tyre".
That's true but so is not carrying passengers =]]Weight reduction is free bhp. Remember that...

This is also true...so then imagine how ****ed off the AA guy is gonna be when he goes to all that trouble breaking his arm to get your wheel off and then finds you're not actually carrying a spare wheel to replace it with...
the weight reduction of my GP means I don't actually have to carry passengers.
Surely you tell the AA guy you haven't got a spare before you let him try and take the wheel off!
The grease you talk of is copper grease, it stops parts like bolts rusting and seizing.
You SHOULD NOT put grease on your wheel bolts as it leads to Over torquing
