Introduction
On a Tuesday morning I was scrolling through marketplace and seeing the site of a cinquecento come up, a rare site these days. This one hadn’t a price and was listed as a “will sell complete” or “break for parts”
And I jumped on and messaged and said that I’d like to have it and made an offer. Payed £275 for it and got it.
It has some top quality upgrades, spoiler with rear brake light, and seicento chequered seats that sadly have seen better days.
managed to get it running there and then started up.
Why it was left might it be wondered? The guy a bought it from had kept it for his friend who’d moved to America and had planned to ship it overseas but never happened and was simply left open to the elements.
It’s in need of a lot of sorting to go back on the road including welding some of it I have started off with. I hope to carry out the majority of the project myself after having completed an automotive course last year at college just before turning 18.
If anyone knows anything about the history of the car please get in touch. Fab
