Bringing the iOS version inline with the Android version, I'm pleased to announce the following new features:

Complete new design, much more intuitive.
Browse the Classifieds directly from within the App.
Take the guides outside with you, they are now all available too!

Well, believe it or not, I think I've finally found a good use for the social groups!

They will now be used as a "Register" of sorts, to see who has what

If you scroll to the bottom of a model forum, you'll now see a new box which lists a random lot of 10 people who are also "Members"...

 

Just a small update, but one that was seriously needed

Viewing an event post in the app will now list all the event details at the top (date, map, location bla bla bla) - you won't be able to enrol from within the app, but you will at least be able to see who is going

 

And this one is the big one guys - after months of getting it ready, we're finally done.

Well - 1 - but it's early days

The chatbar now has an extra option "Chatrooms" - which takes you to the chat lobby. From here you can join a room which will allow chatting between everyone in it.

For now, there is just 1 - to see how it goes, but for future, we could have things like...

 

Mainly backend stuff (which will become apparent in the future) - but a few bugfixes too

A few backend changes, but the main thing is now videos show inline the threads, so you can view them directly in the app - ie, no links to external sites

 

A little little change, just to freshen things up on the site a bit

The default font has now changed from Verdana to Trebuchet MS. It isn't as wide as Verdana, so I think it gives a bit more space.

Unfortunately, the PT sizes don't totally match up, so it's also a bit smaller - hopefully...

 

This release fixed both the notification bug (properly this time) and also an image upload bug.

Got the new chat server working now, so I'm pleased to announce the chat system has been turned back on

Notifications were broken in the previous update, this has now been fixed.

 

You may have noticed from today that a few people have a new "Forum Friend" icon next to their name - and also we have a new section in the "Members Offers" part of the forum.

Basically - in the past, I've had a number of companies contact me wanting to offer discounts to members, but not...

 

The biggest update here is PUSH compatibility - so your phone should get instant updates when someone posts in a subscribed forum, sends a PM or things like that.

In-app registration now supported - no longer redirecting out to an external page.

A few more bug fixes.

 

Boring one this, so I'm not going to bother doing a full release note.

Just random bugs fixed and a nice new icon in the "Who's Online" list.

Still doesn't actually say where they are though, which I hope can get sorted out soon.

 

After a few years of people always posting technical questions in here, and them not really being used for right purpose - I've decided to close them down.

Backend Update

Linked forums now function within the app - so you will see Members Motors, Auction Watch and Spotted threads within the relevant forum.

 

I'm writing this in retrospect, just so we have a proper log of it
