Hi there, I work for a bus company and we have a Fiat Bluebird with a comfortmatic gearbox. I've just replaced the clutch and calibrated it using the diagnostic equipment but I've got a gearbox fault code P290D that I cant seem to eliminate and the gearbox light and fault message are on the dash. Any technically minded people out there with any ideas it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Electro valve 3 current error, check the coil resistance sould be a few ohms, check connectors and wiring.
 
Thanks very much mate, sorry it took so long to get back to you. Will have to pull the gearbox out again and get a look at the valve and wiring, thanks again for your help, much appreciated

Hi I have the same problem also work for a bus company I have changed the cluch and gearbox box as I thought this would solve the problem as the gearbox was working fine in another bus also changed the gearbox ecu it goes into 1st and reverse when engine not running but says no gear found when running
