Hi everyone
Need sum help please
Recently bought a Fiat Doblo 1.3 Multijet great little van and lovely to drive
It started when my engine management light came on, so went through the motion of getting it tested cane up with EGR valve so instead of cleaning as it was seased bought new and fitted my self.
All worked fine cleaned intake manifold to but this is were the real problem started the fault code for the EGR went off and took it for a spin got up to 3000rpm and engine light came back on so plugged it back in EGR valve disappeared but Engine boost sensor came up and now my Doblo is running even worse
Please and help would be greatly appreciated
Thankyou

Are you sure that you mounted everything back properly after cleaning the manifold and refitting the new EGR?

Any air leaks around the manifold area could cause boost leaks...

Also what year is it? If you have the Euro 4 engine(first 1.3 mjtd ever came out) check the pipe that runs from the EGR cooler into the intake manifold. There is a clamp and a metal gasket that joins two pipes together that could have been mounted improperly because of the tight working space...

Its a nightmare to mount square..
Mine was on badly.. just leaked..so bad fumes

Here is an image:

I have to take pics to check how it mounted..

No errors though..

Hi everyone it’s a 2008 plate and it’s was a whole new EGR and I did clean the manifold intake as was filthy and cleaned map sensor too
Took it for a spin and as soon as I got in to 3rd at 3000rpm the engine light came back on and lost power again.
Plugged back in and boost pressure sensor again
Any help will be great
