Got a strange one for you lot
Its only happened twise now since ive owned the car. The engine management light on the dash (little injector sign thingy) will flash in sequence. not randomly flash (as a loose connection might cause) but flash on for 1/2 a second.. then on off for 1/2 a second etc. and repeat for about 30 seconds and then it stays on for about 10 seconds and then goes off.
the car doesnt judder or loose power whist its doing this so ive rulled out ignition coils so im assuming its complaining about a sensor.. but then surely the car would behave oddly whilst its flashing?
just incase it makes a difference, the cars fitted with a reconditioned ECU with the immobiliser disabled and an after market immobiliser is fitted which basicly cuts the power to the ECU only so you can still use everything in the car except start it unless you turn off the immobiliser.
I doubt it makes a difference but thought I would mention it anyway
