Hi there,
New to this Forum although not new to this site as I've had a 1979 Mirafiori for a while.
Glad to be part of the Seicento community!
I've searched the previous posts on washer problems but can't find one with the same problem as I'm having so wondered if anyone can help:
Car: 2001 Seicento Michael Schmacher 1.1
The rear washer works but no water comes out of the front one when I pull back on the stalk.
I can hear the electric pump spinning when I activate the front washer.
I disconnected the black pipe before the front washer non return valve (near the bonnet strut/battery) and tried the washer and no water comes out of the pipe so it's not the non return valve that's blocked.
I can only conclude it's a blockage to the front pipe between where I disconnected it from the non return valve and the bottle?
Would you advise I connect a syringe to the pipe and try pumping air down the pipe to dislodge the blockage or will that damage the motor?
Or perhaps suck air out of the pipe with the syringe as I activate the motor?
I'd like to get away without removing the arch liner if I can.
BTW, Is it one motor that operates front and back?
Thanks for any advice you can give.
Cheers
Pete
