my misfiring problem

i really need help here. the problem still persists and is a mechanical fault and not what i thought it was.

Ive replaced the split vacume hose but the problem is still there. As ive said before, the problem started about 2 weeks ago, then the exhaust broke and the misfiring went away. now ive fixed the exhaust the misfiring has returned.

im really stuck with this and if anyone has any idea of things i could check i would be really grateful!

thanks

Smile Re: my misfiring problem

my sei sporting was misfiring really badly and i solved it by treating the little darling to some 4 point racing ht leads. Although these cost about 70.00 from Motor World. well worth the money in my opinion. you could also try dropping some spirits straight into the carb...that seems to clean the whole system. worked on mine....

Get a compression check done, plus when did you last have new plugs and leads?
