Bleeped the car jumped in , put key in ignition, and nothing, no a single light, as if the battery was disconnected...

Had a look and couldnt see any reason, then from no where it turned back on again. The cd player started having a fit, the amp didnt power up so i switched it all off again. The clock was reset.
Tried again and the car turned on fine and everything worked the way it should.

Got to the car park, took keys outs and it did the same, as if the battery was dissconnected. I waited for a minute or two and it all powered on again. clock was reset again
I checked the earths fuses etc all seems ok. Any ideas? Bad connection at battery??

Well worth giving the terminals a quick grease up with vaseline and a tweak!

On a sensible note (did I just say that?).

It could be the contacts behind the key hole.

Vaseline and tweaking sound soooooo much better!

nah that fuse doesn't fuse the starter. lube it up and give it a tweak!

no, sorry need solid hard cash! woman wants to do the house up. its on piston heads at mo for £5500. i've spent silly amounts of money on the thing recently. anyway no, that fuse doesn't fuse the starter, but it does fuse the switch that sends the activation feed. (and everything else for that matter)

good point, forgot about that. i'm gonna blame having been at work for 6 hours already!

i don't have any money, which is a shame - i'd love a gt4 st205.
