As the title says I got round to fitting my Punto Gt turbo brake callipers today along with the vented disc's (Maxtorq group 'N') and MIntex M1144 pads as well as Goodridge Stainless steel brake lines.
I thought i would post up some before and after pics plus side by side shots so you can see the physical difference in size between the parts.
It should be stressed though that anyone wanting to do this will need a minimum of 14" wheels to fit them inside! Other than that, they are a straight swap over with nothing special needed to fit them except an 11mm brake pipe union spanner & 13mm & 17mm open ended spanners to remove old rubber brake pipes, re-fit s/s ones if your doing that as well, and a decent socket set to remove the calliper
The original Cinq sporting is on the left, Punto GT right with a before and after shots last.
PS any one who's wondering what the silver things are with bolts in them that's the 30mm FK Performance spacers I use to fit my wheels.
Aaron.
