i think you need to drill the rest of the bolt out and then replace the top mounting bolt somehow (dont worry jug will know he has said it happened to him before)

The long bar is called a breaker bar cause thats what it does " Break things" dont use it. use a normal socket rench or something. Never use a big bar
 
You need to otherwise you will snap all of them. you have to use a normal socket wrench.

Spray again with WD40 (absoultly cover it in it and let it soak in and repeat three or four times then try again)

Jug...... what did you do when you did this?

once the strut is off you can get some mole grips on the remaining bit and wind it out from its rusty side. not as easy as it sounds tbh. then go to a scrapyard and get the same bolt from a bravo/a to replace it.

in my case the thread on the strut was buggered afterwards so i used a tap&die to repair it well enough for the bolt to go back in, and then only nipped it up when refitting instead of giving it a good tighten.
