I’m having the variator replaced along with a new cambelt water pump etc.
I’m supplying the parts.

Three questions please:

1. Is the variator socket essential?
2. Does the Alfa one fit? (There’s a cheap one on e-bay).
It certainly looks the same with three pins.
3. Does anyone have a used one they would like to sell?
