Has anyone got a clue where i can find the Airbag CPU Plug to reset the airbag, I have the necessary tool for resetting but can't locate the plug socket........I understand it is under the Dash somewhere and there is a seperate one for the Airbag......Any suggestions???

There is a loose plug somewhere in the right hand footwell, but I have no idea whether that's the one you're looking for...

Stick your head under the dash on the passenger side using a flash light to see.
You will find a yellow cable pluged in a dummy socket.
There you go!

hi!
I also need to reset the airbag,
could someone pls send me the software and some instructions how to do it?
or some electronic scheme.
I also owant to disable the immo function on the ecu.

Thanks.
Pls send to my email: [email protected]

Ok, so i don't have to pay the main dealer the £30 or more they ask for to reset the aibag light!!!!....:D

Robots picture above shows the location of the airbag Plug for connecting to the diagnostics (Snap On) machine that my mechanic used to reset the system and turn off the light.

Originally we tried to reset with the other OBD connector also found under the passenger footwell and the Diagnostics tool asked to be connected to the Aibag Plug which we couldn't find but as Robots picture shows the plug is hidden and you can feel your way to it

Cheers Rob's:slayer:remember to unplug your battery before fitting the seats or you will go through what i've just been through......luckily the mechanic is a good friend and is always at hand to help out.

I don't know of any software..... i guess it needs to be connected to the correct diagnostics tool that some/most good mechanics own, mine uses a Snap on tool which probably costs ££££1000's

you shouldnt just reset them, you should get the fault fixed that made the light come on first

I know........mine was the connector under the drivers seat pulled out by accident and the light came on straight away, so it's connected again and reset......
