Changing the pads and rotors on my 2014 500L. The front caliper carriers are attached by two 13 mil bolts. May just be really stuck but any chance they are reverse thread? I'v been searching but can't find an answer
I agree its unlikely..
Usually only fitted on parts that ROTATE
6point socket and a fecent length lever will shift it.. ( probably Loctite'd in..)
More then likely a e torx socket so 6 point anyway
O.P. says 13mil
Thats an M8 bolt with a 13mm hexagonal head
They'll be the same as Panda.
Caliper slide pipn is 13mm hex, normal rigth hand thread, but loctited, so very tight. Much swearing is required.
Carrier bolts, I think, are 17mm hex, but might be smaller, might be an odd, 15, or 16mm. They are difficult to get at, and also loctited in, so very tight. More swearing, and a long bar, are required.
Aye, on my daily a few weeks ago little room for sockets, it’s the slider 13mm bolts that were referred to. It’s worth investing in good quality tools alone for this job.
Oh aye, much swearing indeed PB.
Later models use e torx.. And no, they're definitely not the same as the Panda - it's a 500L, not a regular 500
I never said anything to the contrary ; I was referring to my daily driver which the callipers are a bugger for room  similar to most callipers.
