Hi folks
I'm new to this forum and hope it is everything I am looking for. The last one is in for my Nissan Juke was great, with some good banter.
Anyway, I have a black 1.3 diesel with white roof and mirrors and Dualogic box.
I've learned to use semiautomatic rather than the full auto do the work and found the changes much smoother. It's very like a Skoda Citigo in that respect.

I have a question about servicing;

I have a service plan through Arnold Clark when I bought the car used. The car will be two years old in June 2016. If I have read things correctly about my car then I should expect my first service at two years or 20k miles, whichever comes first. Would you kind people be able to verify this please?
The details I have about the service booking states "Service plan service 36k".
I read this as meaning the car will be taken in for 36k mile service instead of 20k. If this is correct is the 36k service a full service or might the dealer be trying to save themselves work and obviously, money but, at what expense to me and my car?

Thanks in advance for any views on this. I'll be contacting the dealer tomorrow to see what their talking about.

Fiat 500L diesels (1.3 and 1.6) need servicing every 2 years or 35,000km. 35,000km = 21,748 miles.

The type of service will depend on whether or not the Arnold Clark branch you purchased from is a Fiat franchise. If they are a franchise, then the service should follow all of the procedures set out by Fiat, including the use of Fiat approved items and fluids (where required).

If they are not a Fiat franchised dealer then you should ask them to provide you with more information on what their service plan includes.
