Need to go hunting for a nice back drop to photo her against. That might be tonight's project :D

If I can stop driving her for five minutes that is

It's only new to me, 2 years old with just shy of 25K on the clock, so I hope it is run in already.

Now if I can stop hoofing it around for a while and get the MPG out of the low 30's that would be good.

But then, hoofing it around is fun :D

FUN That is the best selling point of the twinair.

I've had mine since Feb 2013 (new) and love it. I can fully understand the limiter thing and the driving for the sake of driving. As soon as the warranty is up mine will be getting the limiter raised/removed and the boost tweaked a bit.

Liking your style! May just have to follow suit on that one. Has anyone gone down that route already?

Got 53 mpg out of mine today by being in a mellow mood. Drops like a stone if you push it, but that's the great thing - it can be fun or frugal depending on your mood.

Just buy a USB stick for three quid and leave it in permanently.

A USB stick gives me the same problem as using my iPod. My phone is my satnav. As such I'd like that to be plugged into the only USB port so it stays charged. But blue&me won't read the music on it. I'm still experimenting though to see if I can make it work.

There should be a way of making it work, but failing that, you could buy a gizmo that plugs into the 12V socket that has a USB socket power outlet, for keeping your phone charged, and plug a USB stick into the built-in socket for music. Don't expect album tracks to play in the right order, though.
Incidentally, my 53mpg of yesterday changed to 43mpg today as I fancied some fun!

Well, the problem is getting more interesting. It seems that if I have my phone in the USB port, sometimes Blue&Me detects that something is plugged in and gives me USB options in the menu (but still doesn't find any music but that may be a patience thing on my part), Sometimes it doesn't detect it at all but still charges the phone fine and sometimes breaks the USB port so nothing works at all for a few hours.

I have updated the Blue&Me firmware to V7 and that hasn't made a difference. Going back to Fiat on Monday for them to look at it (and a couple of minor niggles that they ought to have picked up before they handed me the keys) but failing that it looks like I will have to stop using the phone for SatNav and buy the Blue&Me TomTom unit (does it really have to be so expensive?) as I don't want cables trailing all over the car.

Apart from this really rather minor issue, the car is awesome, and I have coxed the average MPG back up into the 40's. Looking forward to the weekend when I can give her a really good drive and get to know her better.

There must me a market out there for someone like Brodit to make a smart phone holder that plugs into the Blue&Me port. Seems like an audience waiting to be tapped
