I noticed the other day a slight drip of oil from under my 2008 diesel sport. Its got 52000miles so is by no means work out! Its not a big drip, overnight a spot about the size of a penny appears.

Today I had a better look, which isn't easy, not much room in there! From what I can tell it appears to be coming from somewhere near where the gearbox joins the engine. Or on top of the gearbox under the battery. Without removing the battery and battery tray its difficult to say exactly where from. I pressure washed as much as I could to get it good and clean and will have another look next week.

Do any of you know if there is a known spot on these cars for oil leaks I could focus on during my search?

Never had a issue with oil leaks in 4 years ownership with my m-jet 1.3 500 ,check all seals and dipstick daily, if really concerned get it to the garage asap for a mechanic to check it out.
