Looking for chrome wing mirrors and noticed you also get stick on ones compared to the fiat clip on.

Can you actually notice the difference and do the stick on ones sit out a bit due to the thick double sided tape?

How easy are the clip on's to fit and where is the cheapest place to buy?

Do not know anything about the stick on versions, but I did purchase the Clip ons.

You have to be careful but all you need is a flat bladed screwdriver covered with some material at the tip, to avoid scratching and just ease the mirror from it's housing.

You will then see the original cover's clips locked in place which just require slight prising away to loosen, then remove. The new covers will then clip into place as will the mirrors.

I was a bit hesitant with the first one but overall it took me 15mins for the two.

Official Fiat Accessories site quotes £62 for the pair inclusive of VAT & delivery. But you can get cheaper shopping around. I got mine via e-bay. Watch out for prices quoted net of VAT and then delivery cost to be added.

very good question. Ive looked at them myself in terms of the stick on ones on ebay for £15. I suppose they would be easier to take off and wont fit flush so its a question of maybe where you live and how much of a greater chance they will be stolen and whether you would prefer the real thing. Id like to stick the stick on ones in situ if anyone has a pic to help me decide too
