Car all washed, petrol in the tank and we are ready to go!

Ours was too, about 4hours ago, shame it's now raining in London , still the drive down the M3 would have destroyed all my hard work anyway:bang:, but the plus side did not go Christmas shopping today (y) too busy prepping the car!

There is still a chance that I may be able to come along in the morning. I am so busy right now so I won't have time to make it to the meal but maybe for the drive.
My car has not been cleaned for a week so it is the dirtiest it has ever been.

So it is a 50-50 chance of me making it, if I am not there have a good one.

Route all mapped out. Looking forward to the morning !!:)

Hi All

Back safe & sound, despite a MASSIVE hail storm on the M3 (1st time I fancied Mels Volvo:D)

A big thanks to Mark and Tony for all their hard work which made today such fun (y)

Oh and a :yuck: to Tracy for telling Julie about the Tesco just off the M3  so not a perfect day but sill great :)

What hail storm!? I've must have missed it... Still no excuse for having a big Volvo... Thanks to Kirsty and Mark for a very nice scenic route (was it same as last time?) Thanks to Tony for faultless organisation (my daughter loved the Santa hat!), hope Liz feels better. Had a brilliant time, as ever. The day was crisp and sunny, cars clean(ish) ;), company great, food scrumptious - what more could you want!? Well it would have been perfect if I had my own car. I do miss it...

Thanks to everyone for coming today, great to catch up with Tracy and Peter, the originators of the NFM and Kirsty and Mark for always being able to find new routes through the forest when I thought we had covered them all.

Special thanks to Mel who has had a traumatic week to say the least, for still getting to the meet, a real trooper and a special award for covering the badge on her Volvo with a Fiat one, it somehow didn't look out of place.

As always you can't accommodate everyone all of the time so apologies to those of you who missed out because of date clashes etc, maybe at the summer picnic we can hopefully sort out a mutually agreeable date for everyone.

I have posted some thumb nails below, hope you agree that it was a great day. (y)

Many thanks guys for a great Sunday drive especially Mark and Kirsty for organising the very scenic route. Also a special thank you to Tony for organising the Christmas presents for everyone.

It was Liz's first attendance at one of these events and she absolutely loved it, Tony please keep us posted on future events and we will endeavour to be there.

I see Beaulieu have another 'Simply Italian' day on Sunday 13th May 2012(y).

I think I mentioned on Sunday (prob to everyone and poss twice :D) how great last years event there was.

So, "please Sir, can we do it again?"

Mark did a great job of organising last years and so I vote to dump all the work on him again

Thoughts?

I think that is a great idea, lol. I missed last years event as I was in Mexico and guess what? ........... I'm in Mexico again on that date next year. :(

That's a shame :(, post me your A500 keys and not only will I take care of it while you are 'down Mexico way' but will take it to the event (y) (plus cash for fuel and new tires, no cheques please!)

So, it would seem that we have our user names all mixed up, as I am sad enough to be delighted to organise this again!! Watch this space for announcements in the New Year! Mark.

We had a great day yesterday and would like to echo all the thanks to Tony for the hats and organisation. We also hope that Liz feels better soon. Thanks to Tony for also pointing out that Tracy started all of this 3 years ago, we were really pleased to see her and Pete yesterday and hope that they can come along to the next meeting. It was also great to meet new people, we had a fantastic day and commented on how nice it is that the 'chat' does not just revolve around cars! :)

Sshhh! Do you want to get us all "blackballed?" :D

Totally agree with those sentiments, these mini events are all about the social side of the FF with the cars being the common denominator that originally brought us to the forum.

Liz says thanks and is looking forward to next years events. (y)

It was great to see you all again, thanks so much to you all for the organising, hey Tony - Caroline and I wore our hats out last night to another christmas meal.

I have written the May date in my diary ready so I dont forget.

Happy Christmas to you all and have a fantastic New Year.
