Need some help. Please...

I love the inside of the new 0.9 twinair, with the black interior and the satin chrome dashboard and other sports features.

But the Lounge model comes complete with the fixed glass sunroof, stereo controls on the steering wheel and also in the Volare blue which I love.

Has anyone bought the twinair and had a glass roof as an optional extra?
Dont really want to purchase without seeing one first.

I'm biased towards the volare blue so it was a lounge TA for me (with the tan leather seats)! However I was thinking about if I couldn't get a lounge then maybe I'd go for the twinair but would get the glass roof as an option.
You really need to have a good look and test drive before you decide. It took me about 5 test drives and 2 months to make a final decision, but as I said it was the volare blue that tipped it for me - maybe if that colour wasn't available then I wouldn't have gone for it. Although I do quite like the indigo blue option on the TA but it's very expensive as colours go!

Hi ladymedina.
The 'Twin Air' model is not available in the Volare blue so if you want the sports interior with the satin and black ambiance you will have to pick a different colour.
Quite a few individuals who have bought the 'old' Sports model or the Abarth 500 have specified the £575 Electric Sunroof or the £315 Glass roof as an optional extra and it adds great light to the 'dark interior'. I'd imagine there's a few on here with have also specified it on the Twin Air models. It's a worthwhile extra if your budget can stretch to it. If you opt for the' Twin Air Plus' it is possible to emulate the look of the Glass roof with a £180 black painted roof.

I'll throw another thing into the mix - check out the seats. I've got a TA lounge and although I find the seats comfy enough, they don't give much side support during enthusiastic cornering. I've read on other threads that the Sport model seats have more side support, and this may also apply to the Twinair model as it's being marketed as "sporty". I went for the Lounge (the Twinair wasn't out in March) because I liked the glass roof and the lighter interior colours available. I specced in some bigger alloys to make it look a bit more sporty!

Hi,
I was hoping some-one might reply who has had one fitted to the new twinair model.

Am I right in thinking that the blind fitted would be black to match the roof?

Anyone out there seen one. I dont really want to order something without either seeing one or at least a photo.

Have you asked you dealer if they have any in their compound, or any coming into stock that you could have a peek inside?

Hi,

I've been to 2 local dealers, plus trawlled the internet for pictures.

That's why Ive posted on here, hoping someone can help.

Try asking the Danish chap with the yellow twinair - I can't remember his name but he posted the pics of his car, whether he has the glass roof or not. He has the new twinair version :)

You can't really see that the blind is ivory through the sunroof anyway. Is the headlining in the Twinair model actually black?

The headlining is black/grey, so an ivory blind would look daft. TBH the dealer didnt convince me that it would be black.
