How about tinted side repeators?

Also the air intake . Move it into the o/s bumper vent with mesh around it. Would look a lot smoother imo.

started de badging tonight. Got the Fiat badge off but the glue was a nightmare. Got it all off eventually and was left with some minor scratches I had to T Cut them out. Abit of a ballache. I will be way more careful for the other sides Punto badge.
I did get some nice pictures of the Interior thought. Its looking fresh. I cant wait to get more done to it (y)

Where on earth do you pick up wind deflectors for £30? All my searches show £50+.
Also a general question. I have a 5dr so when I buy wind deflectors will they potentially come as a 4 piece set coz I can't seem to find a 4 piece set?

Thanks

Check out his shop for the 5dr variants you would need and see if he offers the 4.

Re: New Mk2 Punto: Project Orange

UPDATE:

Was able to get out tonight and finish de badging. Jeez what a nightmare. Took quite a while and a fair bit of T cut but I got all the glue off. When it comes to the side strips Im going to have to get some sort of proper Adhesive remover. Screw rubbing by hand with T cut until all the glue is off on those.

anyway its looking pretty nice now -

You can see one tiny paint chip in pic 1. That white dot. Was like that when I bought it. Im guna grab a touch up pen for that.

Good tip for removing the glue is to use a toffee wheel.

I had heard this, but I also saw that you can burn the paint if your NOT careful. Was abit worried about that. My only drill is some sort of sparking mess from literally years ago. No speed control. I imagine I would ruin the paint using it haha.

I might have to bite the bullet and try it though for the strips. Or try some adhesive cleaner/remover instead. Heating up the glue and removing the badges etc worked great.

Autoglyms tar and glue remover and autobrites tardis are both awesome products for removing glue .

Ordered the Wind Deflectors and Abarth badges and primed up the wheels ready for Satin Black.

Taken 1 sides strip off and even after using the Auto Glym glue remover, its leaving C**P that wont budge. Ive just ordered a Toffee wheel. Sick of playing with this. Going to blitz it right off. Its taken ages otherwise. Out there with a credit card and a bucket of soapy water rubbing away for hours. Nah.

Shame to see another tidy original small Fiat getting inevitably wrecked by tacky "improvements" just like so many others on this forum.... (n)

Find some photos of a Barchetta with the similar orange colour and get an idea what you should try to achieve with your efforts...

Agreed!! Modifiers should stick to buying ford fiestas: that way, no decent cars are lost to chavs.

This was what my old mk2b looked like when I bought at the age of 19, and it was exactly the same when I sold it last year, at the age of 23.

And this is exactly how my current Grande Punto Eleganza is going to stay all whilst it's in my ownership!!

Good for you 2 moral police. Some like to mod some dont. Some are miserable as feck some arent. I dont preach to you. Got nothing nice to say and all that.

Im of the opinion that its a shame we dont see more modified cars anymore. And how can most things ive done so far be add parts off other stock puntos be tacky?. I dont see any wide arch body kit and neons... Do you?
