Hello Everyone!

I have a new Tipo 1.4 T-jet, manual shift with ~600 KM on it (went to the car dealership last week). And I have a problem: when upshifting a car jerks, I think it will be a user error (so me). I'm really trying to syncronizing the cluth and the gas pedal patiently, I patiently do the shifting and then the sync but it rarely happens when the car not jerks. The jerk is little but it bugs me because I don't want to kill the clutch.
I'm not a very new driver. Before this Tipo I had a manual shifting Opel Astra F (my first car) with that I drove about ~150,000 KM.

Is it really me or I have to drive more so I will adjust to the car? :bang:

Hello there,

I've got 1.4/95 Street (5000 km so far). Your problem is among top three annoying issues related to Tipo (in my country) discussed over and over again.

I've been trying to get used to it for 5 months now and I still can't understand the "algorithm" behind it.

So I'm also very interested in the response from someone who knows the answer.

I have noticed this on my 2020 1.4 95hp hatchback but it only happens when the automatic stop/start is inactivated and then only noticeably when changing up from 1st to 2nd gear. I admit it is a bit disconcerting but it must be something to do with slightly altered engine management when the stop/start function is cancelled.
