My dads old 1, probably buy it off him for an agreed fee.

35,000 x 3 years = 105,000 miles. Only just broken in on a diesel really, and I presume you know whether your dad looked after it, so I wouldn't worry.

As for the next car, I just don't know. I've got to the point now where I will happily spend more than my car's worth repairing it since it owes me nothing, and is a cracking car. I'll hold onto it as long as possible. Going to be spending some money on it soon, so if it ever dies, I'll probably get a Punto GT so I can transfer many of the bits.

actually i quite like it from the exterior, but the interior isn't to my tastes.

Agreed I'm not a fan of DSG even though it is quicker through the gears tbh - comes in a manual though as DSG is an option.

I considered one of those (Msport actually) but can't justify spending that much on a car right now, maybe next time
