Hi All,

Friend of mine is on about selling his 4x4 Panda and is wanting something he can have a different kind of fun in. The idea is its a car to modify/take to track days etc...

We've been looking at lots of different cars but have got some criterias to fill, has to be manual, preferably with a turbo, has to be less than £1600 (cheaper the better then it means more money for mods etc).

We've looked at things like Lexus IS200's, Mazda MX5's, Subaru Impreza, Golf Mk4 GTI amongst others.

What are peoples thoughts? Any decent cars come to mind?

I prefer the Mk1, but a Mk2 MR2 would seem to fit the bill.

Yea an MR2 did come in the the equasion, just a shame they lacked a turbo (apart from the imported ones) but their prices seem to be all over the place.

a 330i would be interesting, since my last post I've come across Honda Preludes (2.2 v-tec yo!) seem to be in budget. Seem quite tempting.. My friend still isnt sure.
