young drivers !!!!!

I got a cheap young driver quote from them too, any idea what they're like though, good rep or anything? oo and does anybody know what they're like on modding? i mean like do u get big increases etc. :)

Im with them just now, im 17 and ive got a 1.9jtd punto. They quoted me at £750 which aint half bad and it was the cheapest i found. Was all done over the internet so it was really easy setting up etc.

I dont know about modds etc as i dont plan on having any done...yet.

But id highly recommend them, one of the chepaest companies going at the moment.

ive been with quinn direct for nearly two years, when it came to declaring my lowering springs and induction kit on the cinq (which hadn't yet been fitted) they were slightly awkward, wanting engineers reports and so on.
Also, you can never seem to get the same answer out of them, each person I'd spoken to told me something different.

anyway, heres what I was/am paying

1st year of driving, aged 17, £1600 third party cinq sporting, 133 a month with a deposit

2nd year of driving on the hp,aged 18, £1300 fully comp ( with the first year's no claims), monthly payments £131

I spoke to Quinn recently about my mods. They'll cover you as long as you haven't done anything that affects performance. That said, they have a legal requirement that they have to still insure you if you already hold a policy and add say an induiction kit, but they don't have to renew it. I've always found Quinn to be veryhelpful, although I've never had to make a claim.

And it is stupid that insurnace firms expect young drivers to drive like muppets. But then the way a lot of young people drive it's hardly surprising. Saw a guy, sorry, little boy, last week who didn't even look old enough to be out of school on a weekday afternoon. He was revving the nuts of his little fiesta with 'chrome' plastic wheel trims and a chav exhaust, then went wheel spinning up the road. Was funny watching him loose it and nearly side swipe a brand spankers lexus though :D loser

lol quinn are the cheapest by far i have found, they was quoting me 900 odd quid on a 1.2 punto elx mkII, and i know this isnt Fiat but they was quoting me 1250 (around there) for a citreon saxo VTR. lol. i dont think im gunna get one though as they are seen as "chav cars" so meh. i might go for the 1.9 JTD :D

Quinn direct are quite cheap for some young drivers however there are some things they are not great at in cases  not all young drivers will find them the cheapest due to area they live in and convictions etc.....

also when they come to claim i think they have a middle man which slows down the process of claiming (n)

my quote is 1880 euro on a 1.2 brava with quinn direct in the republic of ireland. works out just over 1200 sterling. i am 20 year old male with a provisional driving licence. its not a bad quote in fairness. the next cheapest one i could get was over 2,400 euro.

yup i lvoe quinn direct!!!! and i live in an area that i apparently dont get punished on insurance for so im happy :)

Sounds good that I'll have to check that out.

Up to now the cheapest quote I've got is around £995 for a R reg Fiat Cinq. I cant afford that really. So I'll have to go on to my dads or summat.
