General Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres

I use them on my t jet punto, they do wear pretty quickly due to being a soft compound but they grip well in the dry. Ive read that they let go when its wet but i never really push to hard when its wet to find out.
I dont find them noisey but i cant compare them to other tyres as its all ive had really!

not bothered about wear - want grip

thanks for feedback (y)

I have found Goodyear Eagle F1's grip fantastically and aren't bad in the wet either + despite initial concerns wear well (managed 16k miles on fronts, 20k on rears which I have recently put on the front as they had only worn 1mm, nearly another 5k now on the front), excellent value. But maybe you have already tried these? How much are the Yokohoma's?

Thanks for bringing this thread up. I am after tyre recommendations.

My Bravo is fitted with Event ditchfinders. To be fair, they seem to be good wearing tyres, and they grip reasonably well in this warm dry weather, but show them a wet road, or even snow, and they are utterly hopeless.

Once they wear out, I want to be replacing them for something better. Ideally I want a "best of all worlds" solution, something with decent wear rate, decent grip in wet and dry, something that isn't too noisy, and I don't want to pay in body parts to get them...

I have on Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2s all round. I actually had them on just the front and had Dunlops on the back (I can't remember which ones specifically) and when I got the Goodyear's all-round the difference was staggering. If anyone remembers my story about my Bravo drifting in my little car chase with the M3, I suspect that with the Goodyears now on the back that will not be happening as the tyres just dig in and do not seem to let go.

I would suggest the Goodyear F1 2 as a replacement tyre, it is a fair bit cheaper than the Pirelli P-Zero but, if reviews are anything to go by, is a better tyre all round. Good grip in the wet and dry (I felt the difference in the wet compared to the older Contisport 3s I had on), I am not sure about how they wear though, that I am still to find out.
