Hi All

New to the site as I'm after some wisdom from the fiat Ducato gurus amongst you. Ive read the thread about immobilisers but it doesnt seem to shed to much light on my problem.
I own a 2002 Mirage 5000 motorhome fitted with the 2.8 jtd engine.
the van went in for a clutch change a few weeks back, on our first trip out on the way home the injector fault light came on and the van stuttered when starting off.(assume that was limp mode). On restarting the engine the fault went away.
I went to recollect it from storage yesterday but the key light came on solid after disabling the after market immobiliser. Normally I switch off than back on again and the light extinguishes. Pump sees to be dead. light starts flashing if I leave it switched on. I've tried a spare key and the master. had a visual on the transponder ring and yellow immobiliser unit. no fuses seem blown. where can I get the keys, immobiliser, ecu checked.
Im planning on removing the serpi star aftermarket unit as it looks like a 5 year old fitted it. Any ideas? Thanks in hopefull anticipation

If pump is dead first port of call is inertia switch. You need diagnostics really after that. If yours is the 95-02 era van you need an obd to 3 pin adapter Aldo.

Nice one thanks for that. I did read about the inertia switch. will have to try and locate it.
Do you need a special reader or will a standard OBD device work ?
