Styling Yellow trim seats in a red car - normal?

How difficult was it to switch the seats? I've heard the 500 ones are much more comfortable as well.
(Yes, I bought the yellow seated car!)

4 bolt for each front seat and 4 for the rear

But the 500 seats required a little modification I think to fit

The front seats have a retaining lug on one of the front feet. When the bolts are removed, be careful to disentangle that before trying to lift the seat out. The back seat has a bolt in the middle at the back. They can all be a bit rusted underneath so can be slow to extract. Just use some anti seize all the way up when you refit them. The split fold rear looks like it should be a straight swap.

The 500 rear seat centre bracket should drop straight in as they all have the same structural body shell.

Well I've just bought a 2005 4x4 - it has Red trim seats in a yellow car ... subtle! (But it's French - presumably they had a different range of trim levels and combinations).

My early (2003) Active is red with yellow seats and they are still in good order. I also have a 2004 Active in blue with blue seats!
