I've already bought the replacement bulbs from PRIracing ages ago and posted about them on here:

I can confirm they are rated slightly higher than the standard ones. They work fine.

This is the link to them:

Priracing is only 2 mile's from me so when I first bought them the guy refunded my postage and came around to my house just to see the 500.

If the link doesnt work then go to http://www.priracing.com/ and type 7443 in the search.

do these fit in no problems whatsoever ?

Yes, those are what I used. They fit perfectly with no issues.

It doesn't say that they will
Anyway, the reason I'm replying to this is to ask what bulbs I should use to replace my orange indicator bulbs to remove the orange finish? Just got paid and I'm looking to smarten up the front end a bit more. (y)

yep those are the front's ive ordered
rear's are py21w i can't remember if there offset pin or not, it only takes 5 mins to pull one out though so id check before buying some

I'll take them into Halfords tomorrow and have a look.
On a related note, I bought those headlight bulbs on eBay at about 7pm, got an email at 10pm to say they were packaged and ready to be sent in the morning! Amazing service! :D

I swear sometimes in the 500 section you can almost feel the sexual frustration emitting from your monitor...

Dunno if i've already posted on this topic but i have HIDs 8k from Hids-Direct.co.uk

I would be very interested to see if these have approval for road use?

My understanding is that HIDs must be self leveling, automatically cleaned, and permanently shut down in the event of air bag deployment, as well as providing the same dipped beam limit as halogens.

I'm not saying they're not approved, I just can't see any information on the web site.

Got me some new rear indicator bulbs from Halfords earlier, top service too. I didn't know if they were offset bulbs or not so went in to ask the guy on the counter, he asked what car it was to see if he could help but didn't know about the 500.

So I asked him if I could borrow a screwdriver to go and remove the rear lights for a look, he let me have one and told me to bring the bulb back in and check it in store against the new ones to see if they fit. It was all done within 5 minutes, he let me borrow the screwdriver again to fit them once I'd bought them and he was very helplful all along.

I did, however, buy slightly blue ones instead of silver ones, but I still like the way they look. Pics to follow.

Oh jeez.....

They look all right on dip beam but I wonder what Full Beam looks like. :D

Cheesy;):p

Wasting your breath mate. Legality and safety are apparently not as important as the lights being pretty.

Oh god here we go again... :bang:

Anyway here's a photo of my rear indicator bulbs. Bit odd having them with a tint of blue but I like them :)
